Calathea Orbifolia

A sought after favorite, Calathea orbifolia is loved for its fan-like shaped leaves, and pastel striped leaf pattern. As it grows, its leaves will continue to get more round, and will max out at approximately 8". The plant itself will reach heights to about 2.5'. We recommend a bright indirect light, and watering when top layer of soil feels dry. We also recommend that you water this plant with filtered or distilled water, as plants in the marantaceae family are sensitive to the low levels of chlorine in tap water. We recommend a 5" pot with drainage for 4" plants. 6" plants best for a 7" pot with drainage. Standard potting soil is suggested.
