Calathea rufibarba

These particularly tall species of calathea are loved for their fuzzy leaves and sculptural shape. They need a bright indirect light, and water whenever the top layer of soil feels dry. Frequent misting or humidity is recommended. We also recommend watering these with filtered or distilled water, as plants in the marantacae family are sensitive to the trace amounts of chlorine in tap water. Best for a 7" pot with drainage. Standard potting soil is recommended.
