Medinilla myriantha

This tropical plant grows long pink flowers in the summertime that resemble wisteria. It secretes a pollinator attractant that looks like small white beads - this is normal, and is often confused with pests. It needs a bright indirect light and water whenever the top layer of soil feels dry. Humidity is recommended. Best for a 9" pot with drainage. Standard potting soil is recommended.
